GE/Bently Nevada Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where are your scheduled classes held?
    North American classes are offered in GE/Bently Nevada Training Facilities in Minden NV and Houston TX.  For a list of international locations, please see the complete list on our Locations page.
  • Where else could I attend GE/Bently Nevada's training classes?
    Almost all of our courses can be taught on-site within the customer's facility. On-site courses may follow the established course curriculum or be customized to meet specific program needs. On-site customized training is quoted on a lump sum fixed price basis for up to ten (10) attendees. Additional attendees can be added for a small additional charge.
  • Do you give any discounts for attending several classes?
    Possibly. If you attend two classes in one week, or over a consecutive week period, or bring multiple customers to a 5-day class, you may be eligible for a quantity discount. Please contact your local Training Coordinator/Contact for more information.
  • When should I arrive at the training location for the training class?
    For courses that start at 8:00 AM, doors open at 7:30 AM. For courses that begin at 1:00 PM, please arrive no earlier than 12:30 PM.
  • Are there any meals provided along with the training class?
    Light breakfast foods such as pastries and juice are provided on all course days that begin at 8:00 AM. Lunch is provided on all full course days. There is also an afternoon snack and cold and hot beverages are available throughout the day at no charge.
  • What is the deadline to cancel class attendance?
    The deadline for a full refund is three weeks prior to the first day of the scheduled class.
  • What if I cannot attend a class that I am registered for?
    If you cancel before the deadline (3 weeks prior to the first day of the scheduled class), you can receive a full refund for the cost of the course, or reschedule your attendance. If you cancel after the deadline but 14 days before the course begins, you can receive either a 75% refund of the cost or reschedule for the next available class. If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before the course begins, you can receive either a 50% refund of the cost (within 7 days, it drops to 25% credit) or reschedule for the next available class. If you cancel after the course begins or do not contact us at all, you forfeit the entire cost of the class. In case of emergency, please notify us as soon as practical.
  • What if I have a training voucher or certificate that entitles me to one training class?
    Anyone wanting to attend a training class must still register on our website at Please bring the original voucher to class with you.
  • What should I bring to training?
    We provide equipment and software needed for all courses.
  • Can you create/alter classes to fit my training needs?
    Yes. This can be done for customers with unique or specific training needs. Please email the Training Coordinator/Contact at the training location closest to your facility. They can arrange for a customized quote to be prepared for your company and facility.
  • Can I purchase other equipment or items while I am there?
    Yes. Depending upon the item(s) you wish to purchase, your instructor may be able to assist you in purchasing items that you can then hand-carry or have shipped to your facility.
  • I would like to see other products while I am at training, where do I go?
    Please discuss this with your instructor or onsite Training Coordinator/Contact. They may be able to make arrangements for product demonstrations during your break times or before/after training sessions.
  • What hotels and airline travel arrangements do you recommend?
    For Minden and Houston class locations, we have recommended hotels which offer GE/Bently Nevada rates. See the Location page for your training location. Please make sure that you reference GE/Bently Nevada when you register to receive the discounted rate. Although it happens VERY rarely, GE/Bently Nevada does reserve the right to cancel any class if the need arises, and cannot be responsible for non-refundable airline tickets (so please book accordingly).
